I became a member in Gameknot in December 2010.
At first, I just thought to play some rapid games only.
But, after I started my first rated game, I felt that is very interesting and competitive.
My Intentions
To obtain and maintain a rating around 1500.
To keep my winning percentage more than 50%.
To be inside the best 10 players in my country.
To be rated above 50% of the GK players.
My First Game
My first rated game was with an opponent named Paul.
There I managed to obtain victory with 3 pawn up position.
I Became A Team Member
After I played for a time, I decided to join a team.
I preferred a team with less members because I could play a lot of matches for my team.
So, I chose, "Les Fines Lames".
My First Mini-Tournament
It is still in progress.

I joined the 78th GK tournament as my first tournament in Gameknot.
After winning five of the available six games, I managed to qualify to the 2nd round.

My First 20 Rated Games
My first 20 rated were rather triumphant.
I managed to win 11 of them, lost 4 and 5 were ended in a draw.
I was rated at 1445 and was placed at 11th among Sri-Lankan players.
I had been rated above 58% of all rated players.
My First 50 Rated Games
My next 30 rated were even better.
At the end of my first 50 games,
I had won 29 of them, lost 13 and 8 ended with a draw.
I was rated at 1476 and was 9th in my country.
I had been rated above 62% of all rated players.
My First Team Match
It is glad to say that our team won the first team match I played.
It was ended as 8 : 4 in our favour.
Another thing is that I managed to win both of the matches.

I Achieved 1600
I am quite glad to tell that I reached the rating of 1600 with 13 consecutive victories.
At the moment, with 1632 rating, I am rated above 79% of the GK players and at 4th in my country.
I have to say another thing,
My first 74 games were ended while I was preparing for DipLCM, so there are many blunders which I can observe myself. But now, I am trying my best.
